How do I get started with My Challenge?
Pick up a card or key tag at your nearest participating Challenge retailer and register. Or register on mychallenge.co.nz.
How do I change my email address?
If you're a registered member, you can update or change your email address by logging in to your account online. Select 'My Settings', update your email address and click 'save' to ensure your email address is updated.
How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the link "Forgotten Your Password" on the login page. If you have not received the email to reset your password (don't forget to check your Spam inbox), send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will need access to your username, which should be your email you registered with. If you've forgotten your username, you will need to contact us.
Why do you need my email address when registering for My Challenge?
Your card number is linked to your email address. If you lose your card you can still accumulate points and rewards against your registered email account without the need to scan your card.
How can I view my account and points balance?
You can check this by scanning your card at any participating Challenge retailer and tapping 'Check Points', logging in to your My Challenge account via mychallenge.co.nz or via the Goody app.
I'm trying to log in to my account however an error message appears saying "Invalid email address"
This is likely due to previous emails from us being marked as spam. Please check your email account and add us to your "Safe senders" list. Then try signing in again.
How do I register the My Challenge card?
Scan the card in-store and complete the online registration form, verify your email address and you're all set to start receiving fuel discounts and earning points for your spend.
How do I add or delete cards from my account?
To add or delete a card from your account, you will need to sign in to your account first. You can manage, disable or add new cards within the member centre, under your 'settings' tab.
If you've forgotten your password, you will need to reset this first.
What if I lose or damage the My Challenge card?
If you lose your card, just pick up a new card and register via the tablet or instore using the same email address. You can delete your old card by logging in to mychallenge.co.nz.
If I sign up in-store, will I qualify for the fuel discount straight away?
You'll need to verify your email address first. Once this has been done you'll then qualify for the My Challenge fuel discount.
Can I connect additional My Challenge cards to my account?
Yes. You can have multiple cards linked to the same email address.
What should I do if I forget to swipe my card to earn My Challenge points?
If you have your receipt you can claim points via the in-store tablet for the sale. Or contact us on email@example.com and supply a copy of your receipt and we will load the points to your account.
Can I nominate a community group that I'd like the My Challenge programme to support?
Have a chat with your local participating Challenge retailer to see if they qualify for the programme.
How do I choose the Community Group I want to share my discounts with?
Find the Community Group you'd like to support on mychallenge.co.nz and register to support them using the email address you used when joining My Challenge.
Can I share my discount with more than one Community Group?
Yes you can. If you have registered to support more than one Community Group, each time you choose to donate your discount your discount will be split 50/50 for each Community Group.
How do I change the Community Group I'm sharing my discounts with?
You can change your Community Group preferences by logging in to your My Challenge programme account and selecting 'Community' from the menu.
How do I redeem My Challenge discounts?
Our friendly Challenge staff will simply scan your card when you're in-store and will ask you if you'd like to use or donate your discount. If you don't have your card on you, just let the staff member know your email address.
What's the difference between a fuel discount and points?
A discount is what you'll receive on eligible fuel purchases. Points are what you earn for all eligible purchases at participating Challenge stores, and can be redeemed for specified rewards when you reach the points balance for that reward.
What is the fuel discount I'll receive with My Challenge?
Standard card holders will receive a 6 cent per litre discount when purchasing $40 or more of fuel. SuperGold and Greypower customers will receive an 8 cent per litre discount (no minimum spend requirement). Some participating Challenge retailers may choose to offer more than these specified discounts from time to time.
Is there a minimum amount of fuel I need to buy in order to receive the discount?
For standard card holders the minimum spend amount in order to receive the discount is $40 on fuel. For SuperGold and Greypower members there is no minimum spend.
What is the maximum amount of fuel I can redeem my fuel discounts for?
The maximum amount of fuel that qualifies for a fuel discount is 100 litres. This is for both standard card holders as well as SuperGold and Greypower.
Can I use multiple discounts at the same time?
Not at this stage. We may look to change this down the track.
Is there a limit to the discounts I can accumulate?
Discounts don't currently accumulate. You can only use one discount at a time.
Can I use the fuel discounts on all types of fuel?
Yes you can use the fuel discount on any fuel option that is offered at any participating Challenge retailer.
What is the earn rate for My Challenge points?
You'll earn 1 point for every $1 spent at any participating Challenge retailer.
Do My Challenge discounts or points expire?
Fuel discounts do not expire, however points expire after a 24 month period.
What if I choose not to opt in to Marketing?
You'll still receive the same programme benefits, however you won't hear from us directly about news or offers. You'll only hear about these when you're at your local participating Challenge retailer, or when you log in to your My Challenge programme account.
How do I unsubscribe from the My Challenge emails?
Log in to your My Challenge programme account and change your communication preferences. Or click on the unsubscribe link that will be at the bottom of the latest email you received from us.
How do I download the Goody Card mobile app?
Search Goody Card on the app or Google Play store and download the app. You'll need to log in using the same email address you have used for your plastic card.

I'm a Farmlands Card holder – can I participate in My Challenge?
Unfortunately not if you're paying with your Farmlands Card. If you'd like to help support a local Community Group, you can register for My Challenge and pay with an alternative card.
If I pay with an MTA gift card, Amex or Diners card am I eligible for My Challenge points and discounts?
Yes you can earn points and receive discounts with these card types.
